I have been labeled as a singer, pianist, songwriter, teacher, and performer. All of these labels are technically accurate, but I consider being a musician, above all else, far more important in terms of who I am.
I'm jazz and classically trained, but I pride myself on being able to do a little bit of everything. Over the years, I've performed solo, in a dueling piano duo, jazz combos, and several cover bands. My set lists tend to be very eclectic, and I love finding ways to perform songs that you wouldn't expect from a pianist/vocalist.
